Staff Access Controls and Privacy Settings

Some businesses want everyone to see the full schedule. Others, such as agencies, want each person to see only their own shifts. ShiftApp lets you choose.

These workforce settings control what employees can see:

• Shifts: every shift, or only the shifts they are assigned to.
• Draft shifts: whether staff see shifts that are still being planned.
• Assignments on other shifts: who else is working, on shifts they are not on.
• Employees, clients and resources: everyone, or only themselves, managers, and the clients and resources they work with.
• Email addresses and telephone numbers: visible to colleagues, or to managers only.
• Availability and shift agreements: shared with all staff, or with managers only.
• Time Off and sick leave: shared with all staff, or with managers and the employee concerned.
• Activity log: the record of changes to the workforce, shared with staff or kept for managers.

Each user can also choose, in their own profile, whether colleagues see their email address and telephone number.

So ShiftApp suits agencies whose staff work on their own as well as teams who work together.
